She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula Mansfield Reid and Albert, Sr. Reid; her husband Dalton "Danny" Rodriguez; and her siblings, Wesley Reid and Noreen Reid.

She is survived by: her children, Terry Rodriguez (Christie), Twana McLeod (Tim) and Michelle Myers (Frankie); her grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Kendall (Meghan), Kristen (Randall), Nicholas, Elizabeth and Andrew; her great grandchild Logan; her siblings, Herman Reid (Judy), Albert Reid, Jr. (Lola) and Shirley White; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Reid. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Hilda is survived by her son, Terry Rodriguez (Christie); daughters, Twana McLeod (Tim) and Michelle Myers (Frankie); grandchildren, Madison, Mackenzie, Kendall (Meghan), Kristen (Randall), Nicholas, Elizabeth, and Andrew; great-grandson, Logan; siblings, Herman Reid (Judy), Albert Reid, Jr. (Lola), and Shirley White; sister-in-law, Evelyn Reid; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert, Sr. and Eula Reid; husband, Dalton "Danny" Rodriguez; brother, Wesley Reid; and her infant sister, Noreen Reid. Services for Hilda will be private. Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home.
