It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy James Ribando in Hammond, Louisiana, born in Tickfaw, Louisiana, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ribando, Sr. and Lena Musacchia Ribando; and his brothers, Russell Ribando and Anthony Ribando (Marie). He is survived by: his wife Betty Smith Ribando; his children, Kimberly Ribando Aymond (Paul) and Stacy Ribando; his stepchildren, Alyssa Whittington (Todd) and Allyson Sliker (Michael); his siblings, Jimmy Ribando (Jean), Joe Ribando (Vivian), Johnny Ribando and Jomarie Alfonso (Frank); his grandson Shane Foto (Katelyn); his great grandchildren, Kynlee and Baylor Foto; and his stepgrandchildren, Carlie, Morgan, Brock, Lucas, Amber and Leah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with social distancing and mask requirements will be Monday, January 4, 2021, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. Because of the pandemic and at the family's request, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church.
