She was predeceased by: her parents, Binford Miers and Eva Kennedy Miers; her husband Gene Travasos; her daughter Eva Travasos; and her siblings, Athelia Miers, Lloyd Miers and Erline Peneguy.

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Thomas (James, Sr.), Gordon Travasos and Eric Travasos (Wanda); and her grandchildren, Lori Cavalier, Stephanie Rodgers, Ashley Mathie, Troy Travasos, James Thomas, Jr., Cory Thomas, Brandon Thomas, Meaghan Ridder, Eric Travasos, Jr. and Brittany Travasos. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
