He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Wainwright and Myrtle Mae Peters Wainwright; his son James Wyatt Wainwright; his great grandchild Riley Wainwright; his siblings, Helen Wainwright Rayborn, Frances Wainwright Needham, Betty Amacker Prevost, Charles Wainwright, Katherine Wainwright Mayers and John "Butch" Wainwright; and also Gorgi Nickens Wainwright.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Terry" Wainwright (Tina), Jeff Wainwright (Latitia), Danny Wainwright Sr. (Lucy), Lorinda Wainwright, Scott Wainwright (Sissy), Michael Ezell (Tonya) and Megan Wainwright Dantagnan; his grandchildren, Trent Wainwright (Carley), Tristen Robinson (Tyler), Chase Wainwright (Nicole), Dexter Wainwright, Wyatt Wainwright (Kaitlyn), Daniel Wainwright Jr. (Heather), Devin Wells (Cheyenne), Jada Wells, Abbigail Wells, Shelby Wainwright, Trevor Wainwright, Brittany Moore (Cody), Katie Bel (Cody), Ty Wainwright, Damian McIntyre, Taylor Ezell, Emily Ezell, Avis McIntyre and Cadyn Dantagnan; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Tyler, Londyn, Landry, Lydia, Genna, Rylee, Audrey, Olivia, Clara Jean, Luke, Anniston, Waylon and Logan; and his siblings, Margaret Wainwright Peters and David Wainwright. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will begin on Sunday at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Hoffman Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana. Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family.
