It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Richard Garza of Hammond, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on July 11, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Garza and Angelina Garza; and his brother Sergio L. Garza. He is survived by: his sisters, Melba Garza (Chuck) and Nelda Hamilton (Dee); his nieces, Aliyah, Oakley, Hayden Garza, Angele and Charlee Guidry; his nephew Jacob Garza Jr. (Veronica); and his pets, Whitey and Duke Garza. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and life long friends.
