He is survived by: his wife Marcia Coats; his children, Mary Lou Coats and Bryan; his daughter-in-law Jeannie Coats, Sr.; his grandchildren, Bryan Coats Jr. (Jessica) and Taylor Irvine (Caleb); his great grandchildren, Owen George Irvine and Lorelai "Lolo" Coats; his sister Elaine "Ling" Fayard; his siblings-in-law, Theresa Coats, Ruby and Ronnie Aaltonen; and his nephews, Leonard and Ray Aaltonen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
