In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur Calmes Sr. and Frances Davis Calmes; and his brothers, Arthur "Spec" Calmes Jr., James "Jimmy" Calmes and William "Bill" Randall Calmes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gail C. Arnone, Ronnie Calmes, Rev. Dennis Calmes (Carol) and Corlis Thorn (Carl). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints (2503 Old Baton Rouge Hwy, Hammond, LA 70403). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location.
