It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Labat (Hammond, Louisiana), born in Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Labat and Lucette Labat. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his sons, Sean (Shalisha) and Christopher (Desiree); his grandchildren, Alena, Brienne, Spencer, Luke and Wyatt; and his brother Ralph Labat (Elaine).

Jerome became a friend through his love and passion for his violin. My daughter was his violin teacher and when he asked did she know of people he could play with she said "my mother".
