He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Joseph Cantrell and Elva Clair Trauth Cantrell; and his siblings, Jeanette Cantrell Melazzo, Ruby Cantrell Joiner, Elaine Cantrell George, Lynn Cantrell Spears, Joseph Cantrell, Eugene Cantrell and Melvin Cantrell.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Pickering Cantrell; his daughters, Jeanne Cantrell Terrill (Danny), Wendolyn Cantrell Eldridge (Chaz), Melissa Sue Cantrell and Heidi Ann Cantrell; his sister Clair Cantrell Long; his grandchildren, Sean Adam Eldridge, Adam Trent Terrill and Tori Lyn Eldridge; and his great grandchild Cheyenne Lynne Eldridge.
The funeral home will be collecting donations in lieu of flowers on behalf of the family's Parkinson's Organization, Rock Steady Boxing of Baton Rouge.
