It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Dee Thomas Mazzeno (Hammond, Louisiana), born in Deming, New Mexico, who passed away on February 24, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Joseph Mazzeno; and her parents, Pop Bourne and Cecille Jones Bourne. She is survived by: her children, Claudia Hoffman (Freddie), Aline Newman and Byron Mazzeno (Carolynn); and her grandchildren, Christina Verberne (Steven), Bryan Newman (Rachael), Aaron Hoffman, Collin Mazzeno and Melissa Mazzeno. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
