He is survived by: his wife Flo Winstead; his children, Crystal Lynn Winstead, Kathy Smith (Dean) and Edward Leon Winstead, Jr. (Nancy); his sister Diane Pigg; his sister-in-law Patricia Winstead; his grandchildren, Edward Leon 'Tres Winstead, III, Kolby Hill (Kelli), Kalyn Drew (Jonathan), Jackie Bains, Chance Edward Slade and Ace Adams; and his great grandchildren, Theo Winstead, Kennedy, Ava Drew and Karter Hill.
