He was predeceased by: his father Paul Alan McCarroll. He is survived by: his friend Gene Hoyt; his mother Catherine Thibodeaux Abshire; his stepfather Seth Abshire; his brothers, Danyon Paul McCarroll and Dade Alan McCarroll; and his grandparents, Donald P. McCarroll, Margarette Martin, Rose M. Threeton and Aunt Allison Courtney. He is also survived by two nieces, one nephew, and many more aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Jerusalem Baptist Church.
