She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Jean Gauthreaux and Lillian Hartman Gauthreaux; and her siblings, Willie Gauthreaux (Mona), Joseph Gauthreaux and Evelyn G. Braza (Raymond).

She is survived by: her husband John Calecas Jr.; her son Kevin J Calecas (Carol); her siblings, Patsy Mouton, Louella Mata and Roy Gauthreaux; her grandchildren, Kevin J. Calecas Jr., Kayla M. Calecas and Jonathon P. Calecas; and her great grandchildren, Adalyn G. Calecas, Anna L. Calecas and Levi Calecas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
