He is survived by: his wife Janice Hutchinson Bernard; his children, Allison Hull (Jason) and Scott Bernard (Kate); and his grandchildren, Sawyer, Sutton and Alice.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory-Hammond (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
