He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Leon LeJeune and Dorothy Young Johnson; his stepparents, Vernon Lee Johnson and Dot Wilson LeJeune; and his grandparents, Walter, Ament Young of Eunice, Olan and Cammie LeJeune of Eunice, Louisiana..

He is survived by: his sisters, Denise LeJeune Owens (Gerald, Jr.) and Kaye Arcement Self; and his nephews, Gerald "Trey" Owens, III of Hammond, Louisiana and Sean Tyler Owens (Lindsey) of Hammond, Louisiana. He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Richard Murphy Hospice House, 1109 S. Chestnut St, Hammond, LA 70403.
