With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delmas Philmore Baham (Hammond, Louisiana), born in Independence, Louisiana, who passed away on April 21, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Baham and Mae Perry Baham; his brothers, Cliff and Milford Baham; his nephew Luther Baham; his great-nephew Clyde Baham; and his father-in-law Joe Lumino.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Lumino Baham; his niece Darlene Baham Bruno (Nick Bruno); his nephews, Danny "PeJoe" Baham and Glenn Baham; and his mother-in-law Nora Bentivegna Lumino. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces, and nephews.
Delmas loved the Lord and was a lifelong member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Independence. Due to the current COVID-19 order by Gov. Edwards, the family is not able to invite the public to a visitation or funeral service at this time.
A memorial will be held in Delmas' honor at a later date.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Second Harvest Food Bank.Funeral arrangements entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
