He was predeceased by: his parents, Saul Smolensky and Rae "BoBo" Smolensky; and his brother-in-law Leonard "Boo" Katz. He is survived by: his daughter Paula Smolensky Dunn; his son-in-law Peter Dunn; his sons, Stan Smolensky and Joel Smolensky; his siblings, Claire Katz and Louis Smolensky; his grandchildren, Halston, Jax, London Daniel "Danny" Dunn (Haley Farrell) and Katie Dunn Phillips; his son-in-law Jared Phillips; and his great grandchild Naomi Marie Phillips. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
