It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dauphine Pearson Stire of Hammond, Louisiana, born in Kentwood, Louisiana, who passed away on March 19, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Alvin Stire; her parents, John R. Pearson and Nancy Phillips Pearson; and her siblings, Nell Ratcliff and Johnny Pearson.

She is survived by: her son James A. "Jimmy" Stire; her granddaughter Nancy Stire Gainey (Jim); and her great grandchildren, James Bradley Stire (Brittany), Lindsay Dauphine Blomquist Doga (Ross) and Aaron Stire Blomquist (Kristin).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dauphine's memory to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to the Richard Murphy Hospice House.
