He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Joseph Friloux; his siblings, Evelyn Pintado, Ray "Tiny" Friloux and Marlene Friloux; and his grandparents, Ejare and Alice Robert.

He is survived by: his children, Roxann Friloux Balado (José "Buddy"), Craig Joseph Friloux, Quinn Anthony Friloux (Dodie) and Tammy Friloux Abene (Victor Jr.); his grandchildren, Paige McLemore, Chad Foret, Cara Friloux, Alyce Johnson, Cassie Paille, Alex Friloux, Breanna Friloux, Paige Rushing, Ayla Guzzardo, Shanna Guzzardo, Victor Abene III and Samuel Abene; his daughter Nilda Landry Gagneaux; and his sister Iris Guidry (Joseph). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; former wife and mother.
