He is survived by: his wife Donna Gayle Schisler; his children, Donna Lee Just of Hammond and Daniel Lawrence Schisler (Debra) of Newport, NC; his grandchildren, Jessica Schisler Lawrence, Luke Matthew Just and Samantha Nicole Schisler; his great grandchildren, Mckinley Blake Lawrence and Grayson Daniel Lawrence; his sister Margaret Schisler Howard; his sister-in-law Debbie Raulston Smith; and his caregiver Rhonda Hines.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home and Crematory-Hammond (2000 N Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA 70401). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery (908 Western Ave, Hammond, LA 70401).
