It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Archie E. Gordon (Hammond, Louisiana), who passed away on September 9, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jerry Lee Gordon; his parents, Walter Gordon and Effie Gordon; his siblings, Pearl Nickens, June Gordon, Sylvester Gordon and Wade Gordon; and his father-in-law Jacob "J. T.".

He is survived by: his wife Alice Irene Gordon; and his children, Jimmy E. Gordon (Evie), Justin D. Gordon (Robbie), Judy D. Galladora (Kenny, Sr.), Jeanna M. Johnson (Randy) and Joanna S. Easily (Scott). He is also survived by 19 grandkids.
