She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Amerson; her parents, Samuel Calamia and Annie Pizzolato Calamia; and her brother Tommy Calamia. She is survived by: her son Roy Amerson; her daughter-in-law Shari Robertson Amerson; her daughters, Becky Amerson and Amy Amerson Burchfield; her son-in-law Aaron Burchfield; her sisters, Mary Jane Hamilton and Lucille Picou; and her grandchildren, Ryan Amerson, Allie Amerson Heckman (Nick), Grant Amerson and Camille Burchfield.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (600 N Oak St, Hammond, LA 70401). A Mass will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery (908 Western Ave, Hammond, LA 70401).
