It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ray Rachal of Hamburg, Louisiana, who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Valley, Sr. and Azilda Marcotte Rachal; and his siblings, Harold Rachal, Roger Rachal and Genevieve Chesne.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Rachal (Ashley) of Alexandria, LA. and Emory Bray (Wesley) of Bossier City, LA.; his siblings, Joseph Valley Rachal, Jr. (Darlene) of Mandeville, LA., Jessie Rachal (Judy) of Kenner, LA., Faren Rachal (Kathleen) of Mansura, LA., Ronnie Rachal (Judy) of Baton Rouge, LA., Shirley Chesne of Mansura, LA., Betty Chesne of Simmesport, LA. and Gail Rachal of Hamburg, LA.; and his grandchild Kingsley Bray.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting any donations be made to the Atchafalaya River Rescue, Inc. 501C3 in Simmesport, LA.
