She was predeceased by: her husband Rogers R. Serpas Sr.; her parents, Clarence Henry Loar Sr. and Lucille Babin Loar; and her siblings, Clarence H. Loar Jr., Paul Loar and Carolyn Loar Maronge.

She is survived by: her sons, Rogers R. Serpas Jr. (Barbara) and Kent M. Serpas (Michelle); her grandchildren, Andrew Rogers Serpas (Elizabeth), Riley Ann Serpas and Stratton Michael Serpas; and her great grandchildren, Mila Serpas, Aliana Serpas, Marilyn "Marli" Serpas and Remi Serpas.
