He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Champagne Neff; his father Bruce Neff; his sister Wanda Allen; and his siblings-in-law, Terry, Nancy Champagne and Linda Hymel.

He is survived by: his children, Derrick Neff (Alexa), John Dunston (Katherine), Brandy Bourgeois Steven (Timothy) and Eva Bourque (Troy); his mother Peggy Schafer; his siblings, Robert, Craig Neff and Sharlene Conarty; his siblings-in-law, Roland, Sherry Champagne, Mickey and Tammy Champagne; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
