It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Cleveland Markey of Hahnville, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Junius Markey, Jr. and Geralyn W. Wright (Richard); and his grandparents, Cleveland White, Octavia McCoy White, Rev. Junius Markey, Sr. and Evelina Hadley Markey.
He is survived by: his sister Charlene Melissa; his wife Stephanie Campbell Markey; his siblings, Canya Markey, Junius Markey III and Charlene Markey (Gregory); his godchild Janeese Ann Markey; his nephew Chayse Matthew Gordon (Jake); his godmother Daphne Williams; and his close friend Ellis Alexander. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives, classmates, coworkers and friends.
In accordance with the CDC guideline for COVID-19, mask and social distancing will be required by all in attendance.
