We bid farewell to Diane V. Middleton (Hahnville, Louisiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 17, 2025 at the age of 78. Diane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kenney, Sr. and Louella Kenney; her brother-in-law Larry August; her children, Sammy Oubre and Kyle Kenney; and her son-in-law Jamaine L Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Lacy Williams and Elliot Kenney; her daughter-in-law Afi-Akua'Kenney; her grandchildren, Landon Oubre, Jamaine Oubre, Jamonte'Williams, Zion Kenney, Zoey Kenney and Zayden Kenney; her great grandchildren, Jordan Cortez and Jace Williams; her godchildren, Lanell Boyd, Shaysa Lewis, Kaylee Sorapuru and Daniel Johnson; her husband Steven Middleton; her siblings, Frank Kenney, Jr., Steven Kenney, Lillian August, Pamela Bailey and Beatrice Smith; her brother-in-law Marlon Smith; her nieces and nephews, Lacy Williams and Elliot Kenney; and her stepchildren, Mason Middleton, Zane Middleton and Ruby Branson. She is also survived by son six grandchildren, four step grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Philadelphia Baptist Church (217 Smith St, Hahnville, LA 70057). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery (14989 River Rd, Hahnville, LA 70057).
