It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Houston Nettles of Hahnville, Louisiana, born in Smithdale, Mississippi, who passed away on June 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentiss B. Nettles and Ira W. Nettles; and his siblings, Prentiss Nettles, Jr. and Alice Virginia Nettles. He is survived by: his son Grant S. Nettles; his stepsons, Stewart and Michael Graffia; his grandchildren, Nicholas Nettles, Derek Brooker, Raven Snyder and Jessica Nettles; his great grandchildren, Zander Nettles, Cohen, Hudson Snyder, Trenton, Oddie Brooker and Amelia Nettles; and his former wives, Dona Nettles and Eleonore R. Zarski.
