He is survived by: his children, James Drounett (Defina Robison Drounett) and Van Drounett Jr.; his stepdaughter Stephanie Kennedy; his grandchildren, Sabrina Kennedy, Tamirica Drounett, Joseph Drounett, Aerella Kingsbury and SkylarDrounett; and his siblings, Kenneth Drounett, Roland Drounett, June, Lorrie, Esther and Judy.
