He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruby D. Soirez; his sons, Gerald "Paul" Soirez and David "Vincent" Benoit; his sisters, Almie Touchet and Lillian Schexnider; and his parents, Odes Soirez and Elodie Soirez.
He is survived by: his wife Sadie Benoit Soirez; his children, Lois Soirez, Kattie Toups (Terry) of Hackberry, Donna "Sissy" Hebert (Richard) of Devers, TX, Donald Soirez of Hackberry and Carroll Soirez (Sheilah) of Moss Bluff; his grandchildren, William Toups, Jason Toups, David Hebert, Ryan Hebert (Kristian), Luke Soirez (Lauren), Joseph Toups, Karissa Patin and Jennifer Toups; and his great grandchildren, Karoline Patin and Nova Hebert.
