He was predeceased by: his son Joel Berchman Colligan; his adoptive parents, Dr. J. B. Colligan and Helen Colligan; and his birth parents, Morris Raphael Sr. and Serita Lorenza Raphael.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Wingate Colligan; his brother Morris Raphael Jr.; and his half-siblings, Roseanne Raphael and John Raphael.
In lieu of flowers or plants, Charlie's family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of his father, Dr. J.B. Colligan.
