He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Martin, Sr. and Maria R. Martin, Sr.; his siblings, Martin Jules Martin (Yvonne H.), Benjamin Martin, Jr., Mary Lou M. Guidry (A. J.) and Martha Mae M. LeGros (Perry); and his stepchildren, Melvin Dale Vidrine and Glenda Vidrine.
He is survived by: his wife Mable Martin of Gueydan, LA; his brother Donald Martin (Paula); his sister-in-law Pam Martin; and his grandchildren, Timothy Fontenot (Holly), Shannon Vidrine (Linda) and Robert Bergeaux. He is also survived by his five great grandchildren, many many nieces & nephews.
