Wilda Mary Trahan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilda Mary Trahan of Gueydan, Louisiana, who passed away on October 30, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Trahan, Jr. of Gueydan; and her parents, Proford Woods and Olydia Monceaux Woods. She is survived by: her children, Lenora Menard (Larry) of New Iberia, Louis Keith (Margaret) of Lafayette, James Neal (Marie) of Roanoke, Charles Reed (Bernadine), Anthony Ross (Celeste) of New Iberia, Aaron Seth (Elizabeth) of Lake Charles and Ivan Jess (Joel Evan) of Leesville; her sister Vernice; and her brother-in-law TooTee Marceaux of Jennings. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
The family asks that you respect social distancing and masks are requested for the visitation and funeral service.
She was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors for the Fritz Lang Scholarship Foundation in May of 2003.
