He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wilson Jolivette of Gueydan, LA.; his children, Walter Jolivette III (Jean) of Duson, LA, Lance C. Jolivette (Germaine) of Maurice, LA, Nancy R. Ned (Alton) of Lafayette, LA, Felicia M. Jolivette of Stone Mountain, GA and Karine C. Jolivette of Baton Rouge, LA; his sisters, Mary Carter, Nola Gaines of Waco, TX and Joyce Maxile (Elizabeth Jolivette) of Gueydan, LA; and his godchildren, Ronald C. DeRouen, Melvin C. Carter, III and Elizabeth Woods-Smith. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
