He is survived by: his wife Vickie Primeaux Bertrand of Gueydan; his sons, Shannon Bertrand (Sandra) of Abbeville and Shyle Bertrand (Jani) of Maurice; his stepchildren, Justin Trahan of Gueydan and Brandy Trahan (Mark Lege) of Morse; his grandchildren, Hali Bertrand, Konner Bertrand, Kade Bertrand, Emerald Guidry and Brandi Hebert; his stepgrandchildren, Case Trahan, Reagan Williams, Spence Boudreaux, Slaton Plaisance, Ethan Vincent and Dylan Vincent; and his sisters, Virgie Barrientes of Lafayette and Cleo Smith (Johnny) of Abbeville.
