He was predeceased by: his daughter Michaelle Richard; his parents, Sevegnier LeMarie and Celina Vidalier; and his brothers, Ernest, Gabriel and Norris (Doris LeMaire).
He is survived by: his daughter Terry Puckett (Jason Benoit) of Church Point; his grandchildren, Abby Walker, Raven Puckett, Hunter Puckett, Tessie Romero, Corey Romero, Kristen LeMaire, Brooke Dyson and Lauren Abate; his close friend Annette Kershaw; and his siblings, Irene Guidry of Gueydan and Floyd "Bojo" LeMaire of Kaplan. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
