He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Joseph Badon of Kaplan and Verdie Pego of Mermentau Cove; his brother Sidney Dale Badon; and his sister-in-law Carol Badon. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Clark Badon; his sons, Terry Badon, Sidney Badon (Penny) and Joshua Badon (Jennifer); his stepson Jacques Broussard; his daughter Sabrina Larive (Glenn); and his brother Donald Edward Badon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home (514 2nd St, Gueydan, LA 70542). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home - Gueydan (514 2nd St, Gueydan, LA 70542). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gueydan Cemetery.
