He was predeceased by: his wife Mickey Plaisance; and his parents, Polite Plaisance and Ada Lege. He is survived by: his children, Randy Plaisance of Gueydan, Steven Plaisance (Carol) of Gueydan, Robert Plaisance (Stacey) of Gueydan, Debra (Gary Abshire) of Gueydan and Susan (Nelson LaComb) of Gueydan; and his sister Viola Vondenstein of Gueydan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 16 great grand-children; and two great-great grandchildren.
