She was predeceased by: her husband Shelton Breaux; her parents, Andrew Frederick and Edua Frederick; her son Glen Conner; her siblings, Mildred Stelly and Paul Frederick; and the father of her children Nelson Conner.

She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Anderson of Houston, TX, Joy Harrington (Bradley) of Gueydan, Pamela Goos (Brady) of Lake Charles and Kayla Hutchison of Asheville, NC; and her sister Doris Bellard of Lake Charles. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great granchild.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the children of Joyce to help with funeral expenses.
