He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Stutes and Ory Kobleur; and his siblings, Weber Henry Stutes, Dorothy Vincent and Norma Guidry.

He is survived by: his sister Dolores S. Lepretre of Gueydan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
