He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Phillip Zaunbrecher and Barbara Frey; and his siblings, Raymond, Edmond, Vincent, Harry, Wayne Zaunbrecher, Bertha Breaux and Augusta Bollich.
He is survived by: his wife Cena Mae Zaunbrecher of Gueydan; his children, Gerald Zaunbrecher (Jesseca) of Gueydan, Sheryl Broussard (Robert) of Gueydan, Susan Hardy (Duane) of Madison, MS and Charlotte Detraz (Sonny) of Abbeville; and his sisters, Ramona Petry of Jennings, Carolyn Guidry of Gueydan, Bobbi Leonards of Crowley and Jackie Francois of Iota. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren; his four great grandchildren.
