It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hines Potier in Gueydan, Louisiana, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie Potier; her son Darryl Potier; her parents, Lewis Hines and Francis Nolan Hines; her siblings, Wanda Primeaux, Irving, Lawrence, Dennis, Jenus and Freddie Hines; and her great grandchild Cassandra Potier Guidry.
She is survived by: her son Wilbert Potier (Linda) of Kaplan; and her grandchildren, Charmain LaFleur (E. J.) and Jeffery Abshire (Rhiannon). She is also survived by her five grandchildren, her 10 great grandchildren.
