He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Benoit and Lillian Broussard Benoit; his son Brian Benoit; and his brother Virgil Benoit. He is survived by: his children, Heather Trahan (Troy) of Johnson Bayou, Lance Benoit of Westlake, Bobby Benoit (Jessica) of Jennings and Charles Benoit, Jr. of Welsh; and his siblings, Stephanie Breaux (Charles) of Gueydan, Callie Istre (Rodney) of Maurice, Larry Benoit (Cindy) of Gueydan, Burnie Benoit (Loretta) of Gueydan and Ira Paul Benoit (Janet) of Jennings. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
