She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Heather (Kevin Cormier) of Gueydan and Bonnie (Casey Monceaux) of Meaux; her grandchildren, Katherine Cormier, Hannah Monceaux, Isabella Monceaux and Tommy Monceaux; her mother Joyce Istre of Kaplan; her sister Peggy (Lloyd Suire) of Gueydan; her father Otto Istre; and her former spouse Lawless Fruge. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
