He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude "Jack" Meyer Sr. and Lillie Belle Badeaux Quebedeaux. He is survived by: his wife Christy Evans Meyer; his children, Ronn (Debbie Meyer), Amy Meyer Emerson and Nicholas (Skye Meyer); his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Meyer, Harlyn Emerson, Quin Emerson, Ava Meyer and Liam Meyer; and his siblings, Katherine Anson (Fred), Gail Meyer, Patsy Meyer and Michael Meyer.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilbert Funeral Home (440 S Alexander Ave, Port Allen, LA 70767). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Lions Den.
