With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen L. Hinyub (Gretna, Louisiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Stephen departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Stephen leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his brother Gregory Hinyub (Lydia); and his parents, Emelda Bateman Hinyub and Levin D. Hinyub. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Strohmeyer Hinyub; his child Chris Hinyub (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Savannah and Ryker; and his sister Marlene Rodrigue (Charles). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
