It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Mahler Kleinpeter (Gretna, Louisiana), who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George C. Kleinpeter, Jr.; her parents, John J. B. Mahler and Henrietta Bauman Mahler; and her sister Barbara Mahler Hamm (late Kennedy G. Hamm). She is survived by: her daughters, Christi Lynn Kleinpeter Giardina, Karen Kleinpeter Trovato (James Derek Trovato) and Katherine Kleinpeter Raymond; her grandchildren, Megan Elise Giardina, Adam Charles Cerise, Kelly Giardina Johnson, Pharm, Sydney Caroline Raymond, Charlotte Elizabeth Raymond and Mary Katherine Grace Raymond; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Charles Johnson, Clara Mendia Cerise, Millie Elizabeth Johnson, Theodore Michael Cerise and Thérèse Rose Cerise; and her daughter Tulane.
