He is survived by: his wife Linda Payne Franklin; his children, Nikkell (Trinithy), Ricky Jr. (Shamika) and DaMahn Franklin (Alexis); his grandchildren, DeVontre', DeAndre', Jadyn, Sophia, Julien, Rozne', Chrishiaya, Chrishay, Chrishode, A'Mari and Anthony; his great grandchild R'Miyah; his siblings, David (Patsy), Rodney (Elaine "Bell"), Reginald (Judy), Willie (late Wanda), Buddy Franklin (Melissa), Sheila Williams and Carolyn Miller (late Kevin); his aunts and uncles, Theodolph "Teddy" and Marcia Videau; his son-in-law DeWayne Parker; his siblings-in-law, Marguerite, Henry, Wanda Payne, Gwen P. and Bobby Tucker; and his godchildren, Veronique Mendoza, Catrina Miller, Andrew Hicks, Jr. and Rananek Hartley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Church (712 27th St, Gretna, LA 70053). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at the New Hope Cemetery (1257 Lafayette St, Gretna, LA 70053).
