He is survived by: his sons, Raynell M. Moody Jr. (Tammy), Devin M. Cole (Akeiya) and Oscar Williams (Raina); his brothers, Lawrence J. Moody Jr. (Geraldine) and Morris Moody (Emelda); and his godchildren, Charlotte Pitts Sullivan (Kellup) and Arman Hausey. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
