He was predeceased by: his stepson Gerald Larousse (Denise); and his parents, Octave P. Lacoste and Geraldine Navarre Lacoste Bullock. He is survived by: his former wife Bertha "Nina" Zaharan Neff Lacoste; his wife Marvell "Loviey" Dehon Lacoste; his former wife Jacqueline Bladsacker Lacoste Seiler; his children, Denise M. Lacoste (Earl), Ralph J. Lacoste, Jr. (Veronica), Lovie Lacoste Damby (Matt) and Cheri Lacoste Babin (Eric); his stepson Jason Larousse (Christy); his grandchildren, Cory Lacoste, Mia, Marley, Reece Damby, Bryce, Zoe Babin, Jason Breaux, Jordan, Josh, Jeremy and Dustin Larousse; and his sisters, Janet L. Richard (late Clarence) and Barbara Schmitt (late George). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
